Is there going to be an upgrade to a new generation or marc of monorail anytime soon?

I doubt it. The Mark VI trains are still going (fairly) strong. The control systems were upgraded a few years back, and the interiors were refurbished in the past year or two.
Disneyland got the new Mark VII's because their Mark V fleet was limping along on their last legs.

Were we to adhere to true Disney standards, yeah, it's probably time for new trains, but there's almost no way that is going to happen for probably many years. The Monorails have been given a bit of a facelift, but they are still getting a little worn down.

Just haven't seen them mentioned since October 2008. Hoping to get a few in March.

Most of us are glad to have you in our Cab and chat you up! Just try to ask intelligent questions, no "Can it ever fall off?" or "Can I drive?"

I have been known to chat them up on the way to MK. Had a whole convo bout DL and the first Monos last year with a veteran on the fleet. He was VERY cool.

On the way to EPCOT, though...I need my fanboi moment.:lol::lol:
