My girlfriend will be graduating with a Bachelors in Nursing very soon and her and I have talked seriously about moving to the Orlando area to be closer to Disney World once shes finished, I own an online company so it would be nothing for me to move.

My question is I saw on Disneys Career website that they have a Nursing position option so does Disney World have a medical staff on property or would this be for someplace else? Anyone know?

RN's staff the First Aid stations in the parks. We have had the chance to use these facilities in the past when the kids were smaller and have spoken to them about this (both DH & I are RN's)... they are usually staffed with older nurses, many of whom are school nurses as well; the positions rarely open up though so it's a hit & miss proposition. Your GF would have to have some experience though to even be considered, it is not a first job kind of deal.

From what I have seen, most of these positions are part time. Not to be a downer, but she would be much better off in a hospital as opposed to Disney.

Thank you for the detailed information! Yes, experience is key for alot of the nicer jobs, not talking specifically about a Disney RN but just overall.

Thats what I was afraid of but kinda figured that. The original plan was/is for her to work at an Orlando area hospital so thats not a problem. I just found the RN position yesterday and thought I'd ask around about it though.

Disney also have there own health services for cast members that has a few nurses and doctors who deal with on the job injuries and return to work medical notes.
