Imagine being a parent and forcing your kid to wear a mask at Disney World while you enjoy the whole trip mask free. Poor kid.
I get what you are saying. I feel very fortunate! Being there w my grandchildren I got a kick out of them reminding me to wear my mask! I can only say the grandchildren sure make it all, as Disney advertises, Magical. Yes, I am very fortunate.

Anybody can sue anyone for anything. Doesn't mean they should. WDW probably gets a preponderance of suits, of which mask-wearing or anti-mask-wearing may be a newer category.
They can, but it's hard to do without a lawyer and there are few lawyers willing to file lawsuits that are baseless in terms of legal theory. That's not to say they won't bring cases that have a valid theory but little chance to win. In either of those scenarios, though, the cases don't get very far.

I seriously don’t think anyone on here and outside of a few few outliers judge people for wearing a mask. it is the requirement for the vaccinated to wear masks that is the issue.
Exactly. I'm not judging anyone for wearing or not wearing a mask. Just confused about the justifications for not wearing one that include apparent blindness.

I’m at the Magic Kingdom right now. Maybe 5% of kids are wearing masks on rides. If it bothers you, maybe now isn’t the time to go.
I'd say our zoo (same rules and a top big zoo in the nation) is about the same. I'd venture any location withe the guidelines and not rules, are the same. I do feel for parents trying to follow guidelines right now. I did see some kids wearing when parents didn't. I also know some friends who do in solidarity with kids. I'm not a nice one like that though lol

I am glad they kept the masks while we were there for that reason though. Now that we're all vaccinated, I'm not pressed.

Not saying its people on here per se, but the nation as a whole.

Same at animal kingdom. Even indoors. No kids are wearing masks, regardless of age. I guess no one is asking kids how old they are. Doesn’t bother me, but I’m surprised since, up until now, Disney had been super strict with their mask policies, whatever they were.

Disney is not going to enforce any mask usage anymore. It is up to the individual what they do going forward.

That’s commonplace at most businesses in America. Honestly, Disney is among the last major companies to do this. And yelling exclusively at children is a losing position for any company. Imagine how social media would explode…
Yeah it just doesn't make any sense at this point. It is full speed ahead to normal operations as soon as possible.

Sure, I just thought that since the rule was specifically relax for vaccinated guests, I was still sort of expecting there to be cast members of the entrances saying something along the lines of, “all children under 12 must wear masks. I don’t know, I guess it sounds kind of ridiculous now that I’m saying it out loud, but given their past track record of strictness regarding mask usage, I was just surprised to see no one questioning 4 year old Johnny boy not wearing a mask. At the same time, I’m not complaining. I’m glad it’s being left up to the choice I guests now, personally.
