Disney Marathon - crowd level questions - I NEED YOUR FEEDBACK!

Hello everyone!
I'm taking my younger brother to one of the parks on Sunday Jan 11th and I was hoping to get some imput. I've never been to the parks on the day of the marathon so I really don't know what to expect.

Since the Disney Marathon is that day:
1) Is there a certain park to avoid because of the race or higher crowd levels? Or time of day to avoid?
2) Is there a park that sees less or more runners/crowds than the other parks during the marathon?
3) Parking suggestions/ideas?

We were planning on going to Magic Kingdom (obviously parking at TTC) at 9am when they open. Thoughts?

Feel free to offer as many tips and suggestions as you like. THANKS!!

Avoid at ALL cost. Those marathon runners are crazy, I know at least 4 people that will be running. I heard one person stating he may lose a lung on the trail....:lookaroun

:p

It will be fine. You might have to stop and let them all run past. That happened to us in Sept a few years ago. You just feel sorry for those in last :lookaroun

We've been there several times on marathon day (usually to MK) and the only problems we ever had were driving in because they sometimes have areas rerouted or you may have to wait for runners to pass. Once in the park though we never had any issues with crowds or anything.
