Disney Magical Express to Disney Springs?

I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but I couldn't find for certain online.

Our flight gets in around 530. We decided not to get park tickets for that day, and instead get dinner at Disney Springs, head to our hotel (All Star Music) and get some rest for an early morning.

Now, can the DMX Bus drop me off at Disney Springs, or will it only take me to my hotel?

If so, could I alternately take a DMX bus to the resort closest to DS (Saratoga Springs, it seems)? It seems a little silly to all the way to ASMusic just to hop an immediate bus to DS. Or am I only allowed to DMX it to my own hotel?

The Magical Express buses don't go to Disney Springs, they only transport guests from the airport to the resorts - that way they can go ahead and get checked-in.
I don't know if they will allow you to get on a bus to a resort that's different than where your reservation is. Hopefully someone will be along soon who can answer that one.
We also usually go to DS on our first night for dinner Have a wonderful time!

DME likely would give you a precise answer and your options. I would call them.

DME will load you onto a bus going to your resort. The buses do stop at more than one resort, there's nothing stopping you from getting off at the first resort you get to and grabbing a bus to DS. They won't load you onto a bus going to a resort of your choice, just the one going to ASM and whatever other resorts it's scheduled for.

And in that case, they should also make sure not to have baggage stored under the bus, since the driver will group the bags in the storage area according to stop, and will only take out the bags for a particular hotel at that hotel.

You may only board a DME bus to the preselected resort you have made previously - it is directly tied to your on-property resort reservation. But, provided you have no luggage in the bus (they ONLY take it off at your stop), you can get off at any resort on your drop-off no questions asked. I do this all the time -- I normally arrive on a 9:00 am flight and checkin is rarely ready even with online checkin -- but I don't bother to go all the way to my home resort of POFQ upon arrival -- I get off at Old Key West and take the bus or the boat to Disney Springs to have lunch and save 20 minutes not sitting on the bus as it goes to Saratoga Springs and then eventually backtracks to POFQ...I'm already halfway to DS by then...
