Disney Magic Funnel

I never got a chance to ask this on the ship for one reason or another anyway does anyone know why the black thing that goes round the funnel on the disney magic and wonder is missing from the aft funnel of the magic. It looks kinda weird in photos with it missing and i think that it is a fairly recent thing.

I don't know if this is the reason, bit according to a TV special, one of the funnels is fake and serves as a restaurant/sports bar. Maybe that piece is functional and not needed on the funnel. Not sure, but could attribute to the reason. But, very observant to catch that!

Yeah the ESPN Skybox is built into one of thea towers, however it is the one that is functional that has the piece missing. Ill try and get a photo up soon.
