I had two questions about the Disney Magazine:

1) How long does it take you to finish read it?

2) What is your favorite part of the magazine? (e.g. Backstage Pass, Ask Dave, Bulletin Board etc.)

First I look at the pictures, then some more, then I read and again. Its pretty addicting but, a fast read. I enjoy seeing (and reading) about new stuff and other Disney parks and enjoy their brutal version of Disney trivia:brick:

Probably would not have cruised if not for Disney mag...

i like the mag, but the hidden mickeys section, imo is pretty lame.

"we were in the backyard looking at clovers when my daugheter noticed how they look like Mickeys!!!"

 "While looking at moles on my husbands back... I noticed a Hidden Mickey!" ;) j/k

I breeze thru the mag pretty fast when I first get it... I look for anything on WDW... quick read that... then it goes in the brief case.. and I will read it more thoroughly during my many train commutes. :)

I just subscribed to Disney Magazine. How many pages does it have? What kind of stuff is there to read that's helpful when going to DW? --I know I could wait and see, but the suspense is driving me crazy!

I pretty much do like Jer says... A quick run-over, than the actual detailed reading.

Still waiting for my Summer issue, though... :fork: :fork:

Missed a couple of issues...called the mag and they were very helpful...sent me back issues and asked me to call when I got the new one...3 weeks later. Give them a call.

You know, I purposely take long to read the entire thing because I usually take it to class to kill time, LOL. It keeps me entertained when the professor isn't. I read page by page. I never skip a section.....

I can't really choose a favorite part, however one of my faves is the hidden mickey articles and pictures. I don't find it pretty lame. I find it so interesting and creative. How about that Mickey Lake that was built?! So cool! :p

I will never finish reading them. I have all my issues preserved in binders in a glass case so I can refer to them whenever i need to.

My favorite section by far is Ask Dave. I'm soooo into anything that has to do with "vintage disney". I also like the section in the beginning where people write in. Some of the stories they print are real tear jerkers.

I just wish it was a monthly publication instead of every four months:hammer: :( :veryconfu  :fork:

I wish it were monthly to! I avoid most quarterly magazines... (But I made an exception for the Disney magazine) cause I like a new one every month as opposed to 1 every four months (I don’t like to wait that long) :)

Once when I was shaving my husband's back hair I looked down in the drain and there was a hidden Mickey made from his pelt.:hurl: Sorry, couldn't help myself. I love the Ask Dave section, he is the type of person who I would love to just sit and listen as he tells stories of things he has found out about Disney. I bet his stories are just unbelievable (in a good way)!!! To be able to immerse yourself in Disney history...wow.:D :D :D

My favorite parts of the Disney Magazine are the main feature articles, particularly when they are about WDW or the latest movie. Over the past couple years, I'd say I most enjoyed the Top 100 WDW Tips, My Day as a CM, and the Making of Finding Nemo.

The Fall 2002 issue has 88 pages. It just happened to be sitting next to me. They've gotten into doing a kind of "Where in the World" picture game. They've done Epcot and MK in the past few issues where they take pictures of things in the parks and you try to guess what and where it is.

AP?

As an annual passholder aren't I supposed to get some sort of mag?

My wife and I got annual passes late in March and have never gotten any kind of mag. I thought we were supposed to.

It's a newletter that you are entitled to called the Mickey Monitor - if you aren't receiving yours call 407-560-PASS and tell them you are missing yours.

1. I keep all my old ones, and when I finish, I move on to an old one! Of course, the others get re-read... I'm trying to dig into my pockets to buy all the back issues... :) (BTW- I don't keep them in a glass case or anything... I find they make a colorful carpet :)... well, I'm not that bad... but they arn't in the best shape from being read over and over...)

2. Ask Dave... The article on the last page... the "Making of" articles... and I loved the 100 Disney tips...

I love the magazine, but theres so much more they could do with it... theres only like five articles in it...
