Disney Legos!

Good question...

When I met my wife, I had actually 'decorated' my apartment end table with several built-up Lego sets. She thought they were 'cute'...but they had to be put away shortly after we were married.

We've been married for almost 14 years, our son has well over a million bricks, our 7 year old daughter has her own bricks...and my wife buys some for me every once in a while.

The train under our Christmas tree is Lego, too!

You must have really loved her because I would've said, "The Lego was here long before you were!"

How do you "out grow" LEGOS???? :lookaroun

My thought exactly when I read that! My 25 year old son still has 2 huge buckets and we love to pull them out of the closet and build stuff.

You never out grow Legos. My 35 year-old brother has an EXTENSIVE collection and is still collecting Lego sets. He has almost every Star Wars set. He and my 9 year-old son have lively Lego conversations.

I say it again, you never out grow Legos...

Just in case anyone cares, Pirates of the Caribbean (the movies) is already licensed to Mega Blocks (my son has most of the sets), so it's doubtful Lego will also have sets for the movie series.

Legos are great, but they've done a poor job with the recent sets holding together when the kids try to play with them. They're fine for display. Seems like they are making for collectors.

Huh? Why?

Because it's one of the words in English that does that, not all plurals have an s. One Sheep, Many Sheeps... Doesn't make sense. And I'm afraid that's how it goes... And as said below, it is a company name and therefore has no plural

not all words can be "Americanized" especially ones in dutch :lookaroun

Not that I have anything against, many words can't be "Britainized"...

Lego is the company, not the toy. The plural of the toy is Lego bricks, not Lego or Legos, but who cares? I call them Legos all the time!

I was half kidding with that post. I know lots call t Legos but I'm glad at least one person gets it (and probably doens't call the plural of moose, mooses). Anyway here are my top Disney Lego set wishes:

- Tower of Terror (all three towers, DHS, TDS, DCA)
- The Castles (duh)
- The Contemporary Resort
- Spaceship Earth
- Haunted Mansions / Phantom Manor (have the 3-D puzzle of that one)
- Tomorrowland
- It's a Small World

She didn't say I couldn't have them, just had to put them away. She was right, of course, but there is no way I will EVER admit that to her!!

She does let me have the Lego train under the Christmas tree...she think's it is cute!

I'd LOVE a Lego Disney train - I'll take the Walter E.!

I really like the castle one....there are some neat tree pieces that i have never seen before. All of these probably have some pretty unique pieces. VERY VERY COOL!!!!!!!!

The Lego Contemporary

Anyway here are my top Disney Lego set wishes:

- Tower of Terror (all three towers, DHS, TDS, DCA)
- The Castles (duh)
- The Contemporary Resort
- Spaceship Earth
- Haunted Mansions / Phantom Manor (have the 3-D puzzle of that one)
- Tomorrowland
- It's a Small World

I have designed a scaled down version of The Contemporary. You can actually find it online and order it directly from Lego, except since "The Contemporary" is trademarked, it is just called "The Hotel".... See attached Screenshots....

Below is a link to the Lego Factory Gallery Page....

Then search for either "the hotel" in the Creation Name or "degunter" in the Username Box.

It's kind of hard not to know when it's all your son talks about. Funny you mention the moose thing. It's one of the first things I remember pointing out to my son when he was little. We were at the San Diego Zoo and I made that distinction. He never forgot it!

I really hope they make park sets, but I will go broke!
