True but I’m not talking relay race ride count in the middle of an ant farm. I’m talking about having a pleasant day at a moderate pace. I guess it comes down to what your definition of value is. I’ve done the all day thing multiple time when we take non APs and it’s a long exhausting day. MaxPass helps but I wouldn’t recommend single day park hoppers for most guests. Anyway I’m not the most patient person in the world and crowds are starting to get to me. I also have a 2.5 year old with me on every visit so there’s that.

I'm getting the same way with crowds, my tolerance is getting smaller and smaller. DLR is the one place I just accept it and go with the flow.

Yeah man, having a little one with you pretty much squashes any chance at a relaxing day at the park. IMO how chill your day at DL is influenced 80% (or more) by who you are with and 20% how busy it is! Chill company = chill day. Little kids and/or other stressed out/grumpy/high strung people will change the vibe completely.

Hahah ya I see what you mean. I’m thinking for me it’s more like 50/50.

Same here. It’s one of the only crowded places I’m able to be patient and go with the flow (although my blood boils inside at least a few times each visit) but my toddler really tipped the scales. Overall it just seems to be harder and harder to find a day that’s not super crowded. I mean we go to DL expecting crowds but there’s crowds and then there’s CROWDS. For me it’s not even about the wait times for the rides, it’s the uncomfortably crowded park when you re just trying to walk around from ride to ride or just enjoy the ambiance. Ambiance just gets completely obliterated. It’s nearly impossible to stop and smell the roses most days except for a few select areas. And atmosphere is really the reason I have an AP. It’s certiay not to ride POTC for the 77th time.

I'm there with you, minus the child. That is the unfortunate downside of a popular place. Its no longer the hidden (not so hidden) gem like it used to be. And there are no easy answers. Its either accept it or don't.

Ha, on days I do rope drop I book it over there for 11:30am to get a nice inside table for an early lunch and refreshing beverage or two.

Nice! I love Trader Sams and just the grounds at the DL Hotel in general. It has a certain charm. How long is the wait at that time?

I’m really on the fence right now. Every time I leave I say I’m not renewing but there’s SWL coming so...

Same! Rarely a wait at 11:30am as that’s when they open. I arrive a few min ahead of when they open doors and walk right in and grab a table as soon as they open.

I'd say renew one more time just for SWL. Then decide if its worth it. I don't remember your stance on Marvel overall, ToT aside. But there is that to look forward to as well, at least it is for me.
