Disney is prepared for storms

We rode out Hurricane CHARLEY at the POP CENTURY and DISNEY did a fantastic job of keeping us safe!!

We rode out Hurricane Charley at CBR. I agree, Disney did a wonderful job keeping us safe and with power the entire hurricane. :animwink:

We ended up spending our last day WDW in 2004 in a room at Old Key West during Hurricane Jeanne. We were staying at Fort Wilderness and they very efficiently evacuated us and placed us over at Old Key West. The kids had a fantastic time swimming in the jacuzzi tub and watching movies all day. Disney did a great job with preparing us for what was coming and overall, I would say the hurricane did not impact our vacation all that much. The parks were only closed one day and other than our flight getting cancelled, we didn't notice much else.

This will make more people comfortable at the parks since a huge rain storm comes passing through every day!! Not to mention the hurricanes!
