Disney INFINITY: 4.0 Edition (open brainstorming)

Good point. Isn't there another franchise that should have a starter set that like Marvel in 2.0, and Star Wars in 3.0?

The emotions are already in 3.0. I'm still sticking with Emma Swan in both 3.0, and/or 4.0 with a Once Upon A Time playset.

According to the news from D23, it seems as though Nick, Judy and Spot will also be in 3.0, as will Peter Pan. I'm still holding out for Goofy, though.

The main two characters from Star Wars the Force Awakens are joining 3.0 as well. Since 1.0 is Disney/Pixar, 2.0 is Marvel, and 3.0 is Star Wars what's going to be 4.0?

If 4.0 is the Muppets it'll prolly be the last in the series. The market is now flooded with games like these and someone will determine that it's not worth the risk putting so many out there.

As Disney INFINITY: 3.0 Edition comes into being, I can't help but wonder what they could do for a 4.0 Edition. That's what this thread is about.

I'd particularly like to discuss some possibilities for playable characters, not only "originals" (that is, Disney characters), but also subsidiary-exclusives. They've done Marvel characters for 2.0 and Star Wars characters for 3.0, so I guess the subsidiary-exclusive set here is Muppet characters.

As for "originals", in the previous games, they've always had at least one of the Fab Five in the mix. Infinity 1.0 featured Mickey Mouse in his Sorcerer's Apprentice getup, Infinity 2.0 featured Donald Duck, and Infinity 3.0 will feature Mickey (in his regular red shorts) and Minnie. So one of the characters for Infinity 4.0 should be Goofy. That seems to be a given.

But now what else should be featured? That is what this thread about. Let's discuss.

I was just playing 3.0 last weekend with my little cousin...this is such a cool game and i agree it would be neat to see Avatar in the next edition!
