Disney INFINITY: 4.0 Edition (open brainstorming)

As Disney INFINITY: 3.0 Edition comes into being, I can't help but wonder what they could do for a 4.0 Edition. That's what this thread is about.

I'd particularly like to discuss some possibilities for playable characters, not only "originals" (that is, Disney characters), but also subsidiary-exclusives. They've done Marvel characters for 2.0 and Star Wars characters for 3.0, so I guess the subsidiary-exclusive set here is Muppet characters.

As for "originals", in the previous games, they've always had at least one of the Fab Five in the mix. Infinity 1.0 featured Mickey Mouse in his Sorcerer's Apprentice getup, Infinity 2.0 featured Donald Duck, and Infinity 3.0 will feature Mickey (in his regular red shorts) and Minnie. So one of the characters for Infinity 4.0 should be Goofy. That seems to be a given.

But now what else should be featured? That is what this thread about. Let's discuss.

If it doesn't come with 3.0 I think we will get a Frozen playset. Also, Ariel should be added to the game as a character.

Well condidering it will likely be released sometime in 2016, and most likely at the end of the year near the holidays here is what I would want to be featured.

I disagree with you about the Muppets coming next I think it will be Indiana Jones, but I agree with you about Goofy being next.

A New Star Wars Play Set based on Star Wars Rogue. Including 2 Star Wars Rogue Characters.

A New Play Set based on Moana. Including Figurines of Moana and Kai.

A New Play Set based on Indiana Jones. Which will of coarse have an Indy Figurine , and several other Indiana Jones Characters figurines. Have it be between Raiders and Temple. This is what Disney Infinity 4.0 will be packaged with.

And the last new Play Set goes to Doctor Strange. It will include 2 new figurines including Doctor Strange.

Then new figurines based on these 3 films.

Captain America : Civil War - Scarlet Witch (If she doesn't have one already)
Zootopia - Nick Wilde, Lt. Judy Hopps
Lion King - Simba

Nope, there was just a Toy Box set that came with the Frozen background power discs, Anna and Elsa.

Oh, ok. I've never played the game, but I thought I saw the figures in Gamestop a while back. Maybe it would be frozen 2 themed since that movie may be out around winter 2016/early 2017 unless I am way off on how long it would take to make the movie

If tv shows count I would choose Once Upon A Time's Emma Swan as a Disney Infinity figure if she doesn't appear in 3.0. Her appearance, and pose would be from season 1.

I only picked out the Muppets because I really couldn't think of any other properties that Disney now owns that is not already in this series. I did not think of Indiana Jones, because I seemed to notice them not doing much with that at all, certainly compared with Star Wars.

I have a feeling that the new series will indeed include "Zootopia", but I don't think they'll include "Moana" yet. Not until a 5.0 Edition (likely in 2017), anyway. More likely, the new game will feature "Zootopia" and "The Good Dinosaur" (maybe Arlo and Spot).

Also, Ariel should be added to the game as a character.

Maybe Ariel should be included, too. I also noticed the dearth of older Disney characters anywhere. Yes, there is Tinker Bell and Mickey in his Sorcerer's Apprentice getup, but that's basically it. I think one character that is definitely a given is Peter Pan. Another one could be Cinderella.

Moana is coming out at the time BH6 and Frozen did and they were in the Disney Infinity's the year they came out, so I think it's safe to assume her and a supporting character could be in 4.0. Also, Figment and Hatbox should be added.

I thought I read that "Moana" is not coming out until November 2016, by which time I think that 4.0 will have been released already. Hence my thought that it will not be there until 5.0.

Frozen came out November 2013, BH6 came out November 2014, hence my thought that they would be in 4.0 just like how Frozen was in 1.0 and BH6 was in 2.0

Those are just costumes. I'm talking about actually having the characters themselves in there.
