Disney in October

Hi I was wondering if anyone could give me some info/advice. I am looking at visiting WDW in Oct 2014. I have never visited at this time of year before, I have been in August, November, Jan, Easter and June before but never this time. I was wondering will the weather be good enough to visit the water parks daily. Also I am presumming this but I guess the parks will be relatively quiet? Any info you can give me would be great about this time of year.
Thank you in advance.

Love October! Between the relatively lower crowds, nice weather, Food & Wine Festival, MNSSHP, and sometimes free dining promotions, you can't go wrong! If you get the dining plan you can use your Snack credits at the F&WF. Enjoy!

LOL, this board was my support system for a year and a half before our last holiday surprise visit to the World this past December. Don't know how I managed to keep the secret. It nearly killed me but it was worth it for the look on my kids faces when they found out it was their Hanukah gift.

October is a great time of year to go to WDW! I was there last October 19-26. The weather was a little cool in the early mornings and evenings, but great during the rest of the day. It was water park weather most of the week. The crowds were relatively low, except the Magic Kingdom was fairly crowded on Friday afternoon and Saturday. Next time I will try to avoid the Magic Kingdom on those days. Make sure you check out Epcot F&W and MNSSHP! Lines were very low for attractions during MNSSHP and we were able to explore most of the park in just a few hours (in comparison, due to long lines we were only able to experience a few attractions on the entire Saturday afternoon).
