The disney Honeymoon registry is a joke. I will be going on my honeymoon in November so my fiance and i started a regisrty for our wedding. We just tried to book the backstage magic tour and la nouba tickets but we were told we can not use the registry card there. We were told we have to use it in person and hope that when we got there the stuff was not booked up. All she could tell me was I can use the card to pay for my room in advance and park tickets witch have already been paid for. I don't think anyone should use this service unless you only plan on paying for your dinners and your room because you cant use toward anything else that you put on your registry. Has any one else come across any problems like that. I thought she not understading what i was talking about so i talked to three diffrent people and was told the same thing.

Sorry to hear you weren't happy with the registry, we used it last year and couldn't speak high enough of it!

We knew beforehand what you could/couldn't use it on, so that may be why we were ok with it. We budgeted accordingly and if you use it for meals, merchandise, drinks etc then pay for any tours yourself then it all works out the same anyway (not sure that made sense!)

Plus - the little 'extras' you get when using it along with all the Congratulations made it really special for us!

Just wondering if anyone else had the same problems the OP had. We are going on our honeymoon in about 2 months and thought I should be prepared for any issues when using our gift card.

where to you register for the honeymoon registry, we will be going to the world in november for our honeymoon and don't want to miss anything.

Good Luck with it though..... I've been trying to get the site to work for almost 3 weeks and it never has any items to add and keeps giving errors :brick: We are getting ready to send out invites and I'm hesitant to include cards saying that we are registered there :shrug:

I've been having nothing but trouble with this site for two months now. It's so glitchy for some reason. Now it won't let me search for my own registry because I can't select the month the wedding is in. It also tells me I don't have a registry set up when I log in. It's so unprofessional for the site to constantly have so many problems that prevent people from ordering gifts for couples.

I called them today to ask what was going on and the rep told me that they had a problem with the site this weekend and that its reported to the IT dept to have them look into it. I started chatting with her and told her that I have never been able to get the site to work properly and its been almost a month. I also explained that I have reserched online and the problems go back even further than that. I then asked her how long she has been doing call center work for the DHR and if it was owned by Disney themselves or some third party company and she said it was Disney owned and she has been doing it for a while, so I asked her how many calls she gets with the same problem and how long has it been going on and she said more often than not the system is broken and she apologized for it. I know I'm not going to mess with it anymore but to those of you that do good luck.

It's a shame the site has so many issues that never seem to be fully resolved. Unfortunately we've already announced our registry at Disney, but we also registered at other stores.

A few of our guests had mentioned they had problems accessing the site. The only problem we had was around January. A few people had bought us Christmas presents from our registry and when I went to check the balance on the card online, it said our balance was $0. I emailed someone and it was working again within a day.

We got back about 3 weeks ago and loved our gift card and had no problems in the park.
