Disney has been inviting Disneyland APs to a brainstorming session... And PAYING them!

So on MiceChat, people have been saying they've been getting emails (where the heck is my email?!) from Disney... It's a survey asking typical questions like how we feel about Star Wars and Marvel being present in the parks. Apparently they've been asking about the Disneyland Railroad and transportation in California Adventure. A MiceChatter reported the questions got weird... Questions like what are some other ways Cinderella could use her glass slipper without actually putting it on? At the end of the survey, Disney is asking if people can make it to the all-nighter on the 24th, then inviting them to a brainstorming/idea session with the promise of two-hundred buckaroos at the end of the session. What the hell? Where is my invite? I have ideas and I could definitely use two-hundred dollars right now. I'm hoping someone on MiceChat goes and reports back. I wonder why they're doing this and if they'll actually listen to the APs?

Let the speculation begin.

Very interested to hear more about this! I would love to take part in a paid survey for Disney! I have at times, done this in the past, I jut recently did a survey for a new television station and got paid about $100 to do it! I literally got paid to watch tv for a good 2 hours!

Sounds like they've contracted to do some Focus Groups. Pretty common thing in industry. Often it consists of exposing the customers to different concepts and observing their reactions, asking what they liked the best, the least, what stood out, etc. It's nice to get paid for it.

I've done a paid focus group before but this is the first time I've heard of Disney doing it.

I just checked my email attached to my AP, and.... nothing.

I probably go too much to get invited. These types of focus groups don't want the rabid fans, but instead the more casual visitor who might be swayed into giving up the product one day if it gets stale or too expensive.
