I'm very disappointed by this thread. I know I may be knocked by people defending their right to say whatever they like, but I'm disappointed by what I thought was a more understanding, and caring community.

In this thread, I have seen words such as 'nutter', 'pathetic' and 'idiot'. It is quite clear to me from even a basic reading of the case that we are talking about a very damaged and unwell man. I simply hoped that a community and membership group such as this wouldn't be so callous and unkind.

This thread has made me seriously consider whether this forum is the kind of place I wish to spend my time.

You are talking about 40 different people (only a handful who have said anything negative) that have posted on this thread, out of 77,272 members of this forum.

I would hardly think that was enough to condemn the whole lot of us. :shrug: :wave:

It is the internet, part of the free expression of speech on-line is that there are little or no consequences. And really if this story was posted on fark, the comments would be much worse.

Yes, and it also has tons of people that think because its a Disney site, everything on the site should be flowers and gumdrops. When they see something thats not, they often cry foul.

While fandom and enthusiasm for Disney can be great, there comes a point where it goes too far and starts to over-influence your everyday life. True life and reality becomes blurred when your life revolves around one thing. I think Disney Guy probably hit that quite awhile ago.
