They will have no air conditioning.... Or at least that was the thought on the other thread. If they have no AC it means you have to have ventilation.... which also means the gondolas will have the same problem they have had in other parks that have used them - teenagers dropping stuff out the windows. To me this is the going to be interesting because knowing teenagers they are going to be making a sport out of dropping things out and trying to hit cars when the gondolas pass over roads.... Only a matter of time until a car is damaged by something dropped out... I have to wonder if that will be the moment when Disney realizes a closed gondola with AC would have actually made more sense than trying to save a few bucks.

Ventilation is going to have to have openings for the passengers or they might was well have had AC. You couldn't just open the top and get any airflow to the people.

You should look into this amazing invention called a louver.

You should look into this amazing invention called a louver.

A louver still allows you to stuff pennies through it to plummet to the ground. Reality is the best they could hope for is a screen like you have on a window which would cut down on the air flow and be very easy for the teenager to tear open and still play bombardier with the cars below.

I already totally ignore one (non-gondola) thread that was driving me mad, and going nowhere. The problem is I have to follow the main gondola thread because every so often (these days apparently once every 102 pages) someone posts something informative .
