Disney Gift Cards...

So I'm planning a trip for 10 days next year and since I'm horrible at saving, it might be best for me to start purchasing gift cards and wondered if they can be used anywhere within Disney? If not... where would these not be able to be used?

I bring one big gift card to pay for everything, each trip.

What if it was lost/stolen?
As it is, I try to make sure one person isn't carrying all the ones we bring.

5% savings on the gift card is better than the 2% the banks are paying right now, so the parking it in a bank doesn't make sense and you can use the on your next trip

Load you gift cards in there and transfer everything to one card, each card will hold a 1000$. I mark the back of the card with a sharpie 1,2 so on. You can 5 cards on one account. So far I have saved up 1300$ every time I have a little extra money I buy a gift card and I have been buying a 100$ gift card each pay check. I been mainly doing this for my trips for food and such also for when al of our annual passes expire ans need to be renewed I can use my gift cards.
