Disney Gift Cards

Hello everyone-

I'm sure this must be out in another thread, but I just had a quick question on Disney Gift Cards.

I've seen alot of posts that people are "saving" by getting Disney Gift Cards? Is there any savings by getting them? We are headed down in October and would start picking up gift cards if its truly a savings of any kind.

I'm assuming the gift cards are dollar for dollar, but I've never gotten them, so if anyone has insight/thoughts/perks/etc, I welcome the info.

Kroger currently offer quadruple fuel points on gift cards through Sept 15....so every $250 gift card is $1.00 off a gallon (up to 30 gallons a fillup)

This started about a month ago and we've bought $1,000 worth for our upcoming trip, resulting in a savings of about $75 in gas -- but if we had a bigger gas tank or filled up the entire 30 gallons each time we could've saved $120.

Hopefully, someone on this thread will know this.

It says I can use my Gift Cards at the Disney Resorts, dining, etc. We have RSVPS at Narcoossees, I'm assuming we are ok to use them at a hotel restaurant and not just dining in one of the parks? (sorry, again, newbie at the GC)

Absolutely. As long as the restaurant is at a Disney resort. I buy them for my parents who live in Florida and they have no problems using them in the parks and at the resorts.
