Disney General Knowledge...

Hi All,

I am a big Fan of Disney and everything Disney especially Disney World and the music of Disney! But I feel my general knowledge of everything Disney isn't the best and I feel I want to improve on this so whenever someone asks me a general question about Disney or Disney World then I can easily answer it and help them in whatever situation Should I be reading info.? Watching videos... Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World is a great source of information. I always keep a copy in the bathroom if you know what I mean. That and a little fiber and you'll be surprise how fast you'll become and expert.

If you just want to do flat out research this site along with Allears will be able to tell you everything you could ever want to know. Allears is a great straight up resource for information and the people in the forums here will be able to quickly answer any weird off the wall question that can't find at Allears. Bottom line if you hang around here enough you will be able to rattle off things like EMH days and AP benefits as though they were your kids names in no time.

When I amitted that I was a super neurotic Disney person, I found a good resourse to be just reading books about WDW, I read the local newspaper ( Orlando Sentinal) so I can see anything daily going on. Of course my biggest resourse is Social networking ( FB, twitter, forums, blogs & chats) then of course there is nothing better then just being in the middle of it all and that being in WDW.

I also think you need to find what is it that you are interested with the most and start just researching about that, if it be dining, Parks, events, resorts and just feeding that interest.

The best book I've ever read on the Walt Disney Company (particularly the Eisner years) is called Keys to the Kingdom, by Kim Masters. But it's a beast; over 500 pages. You can't just read it in one night.
