Thanks for the feedback. Always good to see a fellow WDWMagic-er who's in the Android camp!

I'm not expert on the matter, but I have done some minor vibration\acceleration analysis in my nerd profession. I would be interested in seeing the graph from say, taping your phone to the inside of the ride vehicle, instead of being in your pocket. I think that would give you a better idea of the true data. This is such a cool idea, now I want to play!!!
I'm just a software engineer though, so don't harass me to hard.
Thanks for the suggestion. I might do that next time. It was only a spur-of-the-moment/I-wonder-what-this-looks-like thing in the first instance.
I really want to go back to WDW now!
Yup I'm going to have to steal your idea, we can do a collaborative study!! Put my AP to good use, as if I don't already go at least once a month already.
Who could that somebody be heheheheheh.Next time, Gadget. Next time.
Unless somebody beats me to it!
Maybe they really did tone the ride down?I know I'm upping a dead thread here, but looking at the Mission: Space data, isn't Disney's claim that you'll experience 2.5gs of force on the ride rather dubious?
According to the graph, it looks as if the maximum acceleration felt on the ride was closer to 1.4gs, and that's being generous.
Are they adding in normal earth gravity? That's not even in the same direction as the force felt due to the spinning.
