Sorry to be the dark cloud like I always seem to be, But I don't think it really has enough -SUBSTANCE- to pull it off...Maybe if you were able to build rides it would be more fun.. (ANd I don't mean roller coaster tycoon, I mean, REALLY build rides) Like have the option of indoor and outdoor, and adding Adding Animatronics. You start out with the frame, and design the movements, then get to pick out a 'body' (chose from different menus: Actual Characters, Fantasy(dragons and such), Animals, Futiristic, etc.. (along with any other you could think up)) Then you'd get to pick Accesories/clothing for them from the same kind of menus. Scenery would be next for the Rides, same deal, menus. Then, you'd get to pick any 'Special effects'. It would be best as a computer game, because other people could design elements, and you could download them, and because, while you could choose a range of 'premade' phrases for the rides, you could also make your own from an online database, or record your own, and modify it with an enclosed program. You would just combine this with Chris Sawyer's Roller Coaster Tycoon, so you can design your own ride OR chose the 'original rides'. This would make the game more fun then just sitting and watching people walk around. It also gives you more stuff to build....
Then, You could have the 'Nightime Spectacular' expansion pack, where you could design your own parades, firework shows, nighttime stage shows etc..(using the same menu system)
And a 'Stage Show' exapnsion pack that would allow you to design a stage show..(Same thing, menus, only there would also be actions that you would command each person to do...Similar to Spiderman Movie Maker, only, well, better.
Then, after that, you'd get the 'Vacation Kingdom' Expansion pack, which would allow you to pick a state to put your already existing park in, and theme resorts for it, along with putting in modes of transportation and activities at each hotel.
Then you'd get more Expansion packs that would simply Inflate the number of options in the menus, so you can make NEW parks to put in you Dreamland.
Also, I think just nameing it 'Junior Imagineer' Would make it more appealing both to customers and to the corporation(who just so happens to be money grubbing).
