Disney for the Tall?

To make it short (ha) I am going on a trip this October and will be bringing a friend along who has never been to Disney or many theme parks in general. He is very tall at 6'7". I wish to do what I can to make sure he has a decent time without having to worry about his height.

Does anyone here have any advice for specific rides or locales for us to prepare for, or avoid altogether? I've done a general search and it seems to be pretty bad for Space/Splash mountain due to the knees, but what of other rides like Mission Space, Test Track, Tower of Terror etc?

My dad was 6"6 and he could do most rides that you mentioned. The only ones he had trouble with and sometimes couldn't ride were ones with over the shoulder harnesses (so Test Track, RnRC, & Mission Space were no's for him). He requested to sit in the back of Space Mountain cars or he wouldn't fit....but most rides with just a lap bar were ok.

Also, based on some of the boards here, he might have trouble with 7DMT....but NBA players were able to ride so then again maybe not. :)

Thanks very much for the response. It's a pity that RnRC is a possible no, since it was something he talked about at length, but it is what it is.

IMO for the harnesses it really depends more on where he carries most of his height. If his legs are the bulk of it, he may still be okay on RnRC. For 7DMT, it's going to depend on how thick his legs are more than their length IMO. If he has long legs he'll be a bit cramped, but he should still be able to ride. And like @RandomPrincess said, Test Track shouldn't be an issue.

I am 6'6" and have been able to enjoy pretty much everything without much issue. I've been with my kids so it's easy to still have fun. The only rides I have a real issue with: Tomorrowland Speedway and Space Mountain. I can do RNRC and Test Track with a little maneuvering but it's not bad and same goes for some of the boat rides. (Just need to twist sideways a little) Doing any of this has not kept me from having fun and enjoying each park.

Just realized no one has touched on Tower of Terror yet. Since the OP mentioned that one too, I'll go ahead and say that ToT shouldn't be an issue. You wear a seat belt and have a bar in front of you to grab if you choose. There's a pretty good amount of height in the ceiling clearance on the elevators, so I can't see there being any problems here.

My husband is 6'5". He is able to go on everything, though he has a preferred place to sit on some of the rides (front of RnR, back of SM, etc). The only thing he ever really had a problem with was the Barnstormer, but he still went on it. No issues with Tower of Terror, Mission Space, or Expedition Everest.
