Hello! I'm newer to the boards, i've learned so much from this site and i've quickly become addicted. I'm a first time father planning trip for myself, my wife, and our daughter who at the time of trip (Sept 09 into Oct) will be 1 year 3 mo's. We are staying at All Star Music, have park hoppers, on dinning plan, and we're excited. I am looking for you experts out there to help me if you can. I plan on enjoying some alone time after the wife and baby go to sleep and wanted opinions on how. I know we have the resort bar out by the pool, where i can grab a drink, but i'm looking for something a little more. I do enjoy a fine cigar once in a while as well, but i might feel strange enjoying it at Disney or around the pool where others may find the smell offensive, i'm trying to be considerate of those around me, especially the kids.

Does anyone know of a great out of the way spot where i can maybe sit down with a drink, and maybe enjoy a nice cigar? I know there is a cigar shop in DTD, but from my knowledge, you can only buy them in there and not smoke them.

Fuego by Sosa Cigars -- opened June 2007: Cigar connoisseurs can now savor a smoke and enjoy other tobacco products in an intimate lounge setting. Premium wine, beer and spirits, plus specialty coffees and other non-alcoholic beverages are served daily from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. The new lounge is a tribute to four generations of the Sosa family with pictures of family members decorating the walls. The gathering place blends contemporary furnishings and high-tech with old-world charm. Pendant-style light fixtures adorn the room while a hand-crafted glass bar top resembles a floating block of ice. The back bar is illuminated with silhouettes of tobacco leaves and is backlit with images of fire. Custom-designed, hand-crafted wooden humidors hold more than 100 facings of hand-rolled premium cigars -- from the legendary Fuente Fuente Opus X to the highly rated house-branded Sosa cigars. An expanded terrace offers guests outdoor seating as well.

This is per allears.net, and I don't know if the info is current. A different website has their phone number: 407.827.0114. If you want to call them and insure you can smoke there and it's not just a place to buy, hang out and then leave to go smoke elsewhere, it may be your best bet...

+1 for Fuego. It was open this time last year. I'm a cigar person myself, enjoyed a nice Punch Rare Corojo and an adult beverage there at the bar. When we stay at POFQ in May, I will probably sneak way from my wife and daughter for an hour or so and try to get some me time in at Fuego.
