I like it, but I actually liked the other one a little bit more. But I have to remember that I am getting to be not so much of a parade person?!?!? But it is fun.

Thanks for the Video. Im sorry but other than the music, the little plaques on the sides of the floats and no globes this is the same exact parade. They need to get a little creative and design some new floats for these parades. Dont get me me wrong the paint job on them is great and some of the dances have changed but you think for this they could have done better. Just my opinion though.

It seems to have lots of dead space.. just like the other parade.

And the music.. it seems like a step back to me. Like, going the wrong direction in terms of years. Definately way more perky though.

I didnt like how they kept playing the theme song while the Beauty and beast was playing as the float went by. and they should have had a scary song for when the villions go past.

Since these are the same floats, are there still hidden Walts' on each of them? In case no one knows, much like hidden Mickey's, each of the old floats had a hidden Walt on them. Anyone know if they are still there?

The video was taken in a bad spot so that the audio overlaps. It gets quite annoying.

I actually enjoyed it. I think it has way better music than the other one. It is kinda annoyingly repititious, but its better than the one before. I still say there is room for improvement, but its a nice rennovation if you asked me.

I heard that this this new parade was really hard on entertainment cast members. Some people were passing out in the middle of rehearsals. rehearsals were held at nite time too.

I think it is overall an upgrade from SADCT. The music is more energetic, it actually has lyrics that can get caught in your head for the rest of the day (;) ) and the performers and their choereography seem to be more energetic. The loss of the globes for the addition of very nice arches are a big plus in my book.

Sure, its basically the same parade. But nobody promised anything different. Even though I think after 5 years of these floats the MK (and the other parks too) deserve a completely brand new parade. they did a phenomenal job of revitalizing an aging parade and presenting it as something a bit different. I imagine most non-Disney fans might even think its a whole new parade since it does feel quite different.

I don't like it as much as the original, I miss the individual music loops on the floats and the new song gets annoying after a while. And there isn't much new about the parade beyond new audio and removed snowglobes. They should put that Pirate float in there somewhere after that Pirate-Princess event.

while there is an underlying main music theme, if ull notice, during the dance break, the individual float audio is slightly different, highlighting music from something on that floats theme.

ps; that video isnt from opening day... anyone have opening day video (thurs, aug 10)?

I hope I don't get blasted for this, but the floats look rather cheapened to me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that I want the snowglobes to come back or anything. It's just that this new incarnation has a dreadful "hand-me-down" feel to it that I can't quite shake. The whole things seems choppy.

But this is still a "new" parade, so perhaps the cast members (and guests) need time to adjust.

Just a quick question - why aren't Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather face characters at WDW? They are face characters at DL, and I've always thought they looked quite lovely. I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but is there a specific reason?

Who knows. They took the Jiminy costume from PoD, could've easily looked and said "hey... those face character fairies look a lot better than our bobbleheads..."
