Disney Dreamers Everywhere

From my time working at Disney, I still keep in touch with a lot of friends in entertainment via various facebook groups and blogs. Recently, I've noticed a ton of rare (and I do mean rare) character appearances at what seem like very private, VIP type parties labeled Disney Dreamers. Does anyone know what this is about? From what I very vaguely heard, it was basically explained to me as a bunch of big character enthusiasts with excess money to blow to put this together.

Ahh that's a great photo! I've heard stories of meet and greats for private parties, so maybe that has something to do with it possibly? I guess it's something that only the special guess and elite have a chance to experience

Ok so apparently a wealthy character enthusiast put this together and privaty invited people to attend. They literally had every character (within reason) possible. I saw pictures of the Sultan, the gorillas from Tarzan, even Jessica Rabbit!!

They traveled to each Disney theme park around the world and had several special events with characters in each park.

How do you get to be a member of the group? It seems to me that they have better perks than D23 members.
