Hi everyone!

Just booked myself onto the Disney Dream for 3 nights after my 9 Nights at the Disney Caribbean Resort!

SO EXCITED

never cruised before.

I booked a Balcony room with a extra large Verendah :)

Anyone else done the DIsney Dream?

Anyone got any tips?

I booked early dinner so we can see the late shows. Is it better to do the late sitting and early shows? I want good seats each night....

plus can I meet Ariel on board?

I presume its easier and less busy than in the parks to meet characters?!

We've sailed DCL (Dream) twice (sailing again September 2015) and have done the early seating for supper and late shows. We eat fairly early at home and I wanted to keep that schedule. The early seating allows me to grab a snack (ice-cream) later too and not be uncomfortable at bed time. We've also sat in the balcony both years and had (what I consider) good seats. We usually try and sit about 3 rows back (avoids rail) and in the center. I've never had any trouble seeing, except the night I fell asleep  (server kept bringing food and there was a gentle rocking of the ship).

Can't speak for balconies, we've always done inside w/magic portholes.

We stood in line a couple of times and it wasn't bad if you get there early. They list the times/locations of the greets in the Navigator each day. We did just happen upon a couple short lines too (during supper one evening).

Tips, if you want pictures, then get up early and explore so you can get pictures before the ship gets busy. I got a bunch of pictures of just the ship (no people) each morning. You'll have a good opportunity on Friday and Saturday. Sunday morning will get busy earlier since folks are getting ready to disembark.

Enjoy the cruise!
