Disney Dollars

I've heard Disney dollars mentioned a couple of times. My DS6 has saved up his birthday money since April to spend on our trip in July and I thought it would be "fun" to turn that $$$ into Disney dollars. Can someone tell me where to find them? Can they only be purchased in the "world"? Thanks :)

For a kids Disney Dollars are great!!! My brother and I always used to save up a lil money every week before we left and we do the TDS to get them. We always loved saving them up and using them in WDW. It's a great way to show kids how much they can spend. My brother and I always loved paying for things with our own "Disney Money". I still use them, who wouldnt love, Mickey, Cinderella, and Goofy on money!!

Disney Dollars are great! We took my 10 year old niece to WDW over xmas and gave her spending money in disney dollars and she loved it! she felt so grown up using them to pay for all her souvenirs!

I like Disney Dollars because I can't spend them anywhere but The Disney Store or the parks. Whenever I get a new one, I put it away in my collection, and the rest is sitting waiting to be spent next trip to WDW. I won't spend them at TDS because I am too busy buying them there! Now, I have a big bundle to spend....in 135 days (and counting)! :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

They also have gift cards that can be used in the parks instead of the Disney Dollars. I think the Disney Dollars would be more fun for a kid though.
