Disney Dollars?

My parents are going to WDW in January for a few days and I thought for Xmas
I'd give them both $50 worth of Disney Dollars, I live about 3 1/2 hours
from the closest Disney store and I was wondering if anyone knew if I could
order them directly from Disney? If so, what is the number for Disney
besides 407-WDISNEY? I tried that one the other day and couldn't get
through to anyone to answer my question.

Last year, my sister called 407-WDISNEY and they helped her. Gave her all the info...where to send her check, etc. She said they didn't even wait for the check to clear and they FedExed her the dollars, not just mailed them. They didn't even charge her for the mailing. You might want to call again and see if someone else can help you. If not maybe someone here can.

Yes, Disney Dollars are available via fax at 1-407-566-5645. Just fax them your requested amount, broken into the various bill denominations (5 $5.00 bills, 1 $10.00 bill, etc.), your address and your credit card information. Note that apparently processing via this method considers any purchase of Disney Dollars over $50 on a credit card to be a cash advance. It might work best if you were to seperate it into two seperate $50 transactions. I found this info on allearsnet.com, in their tip database.

You can order Disney Dollars by mail by sending your request stating how much you want in what denominations ($1, $5, $10 or $50) to:

Include a note describing the amount of each desired denomination ($1, $5, or $10).

The shipping charge is $3 unless you want "Express" delivery (5-7 business days) then it is $10.

IMPORTANT Reminder: If you use a credit card to purchase Disney Dollars, any amount over $50 will be treated like a cash advance and your account charged the corresponding fees. All mail orders will be charged $10 per order shipping and handling. There is a limit of $650 per order. Make checks payable to "Walt Disney World Ticket Services".

You can orderover the phone instead of via fax at 407-566-4985. Have heard there is a $10 shipping charge per order via phone.

I am not sure if they do around you, but my AAA office has Disney Dollars Available to us. And there is no fee or anything. Remember AAA and Disney are partners so they should all over the place.
