Disney Dollars

Has anyone ever ordered Disney Dollars online from www.DisneyDollars.net? It looks like a legitimate Disney website and the address to send the check to is WDW Ticketing in Lake Buena Vista but I want to make sure before ordering some that it's not a scam. I'm afraid that when I get to Disney the dollars won't be real. There's no Disney Store near me and I want to give some as a gift to my grandson before we get there. Any experience from anyone?

A recording when you try to call says The Disney Store in Freehold Mall is closed for rennovations and gives no details when it will reopen.

I work seasonal at the Freehold Store and it is currently closed for renovation. We were supposed to open in June, but with all the news that might not be happening. You can check the store at the Jackson Outlets (near Six Flags), or the stores in the Monmouth, Ocean, or Menlo Park malls.

It appears that you don't actually order anything from that website. They just tell you how to get them from Disney. I would just call Disney first and make sure that information is correct if you do decide to go that route. My suggestion though would be to go to one of the above mentioned stores and get the Disney Dollars or Disney Gift Card there.

Thanks for your response. I hope the store reopens. It didn't look like it needed renovation at all.

It might not reopen. Have you heard what The Disney Stores are going through this month? Over 150 nationwide are set to close before June, many by the end of April.

If I were you, I'd take a trip to a Disney Store because you know you'll get the DD that you want for sure and not have to worry if the company is a scam or not. (I'm not implying that it is though.) It maybe a drive, but there are plenty of stores in NJ and even in PA and at least that way you'll have the DD in hand and not have to worry about them in transist. :)

If necessary, there is a way to order Disney Dollars directly from either Walt Disney World or Disneyland. However, I would recommend going to the Disney Store if possible, as that way you don't have to worry about paying for shipping. If you would prefer to order from Disney, I'm afraid that I don't have the exact information, but you can try contacting 407-WDW-INFO.

I was wondering...

Do Disney Dollars work over in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Paris?

Just wondering about the exchange rate and everything if they did.

Our store will be reopening. We were the highest grossing store in the district before Jackson opened (and now they are going to close). The biggest reason we are moving is because of the store size. As you know our store was gigantic (the biggest Disney Store many people have ever seen). We just didn't need all that space anymore since the product mix isn't big enough. By moving to the location where CVS is we can better utilize our merchandise and save a lot on rent. It was also supposed to upgrade all our outdated technology in the back and at the registers, but we'll see what happens now (praying for touch screen like Disney has).

Sorry for the local news to all those who don't care.

Nope, they're only good at Disneyland, Walt Disney World, the cruise ships, and Disney Stores in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
