Disney Dollars Still Available?

We were wondering if Disney still offered the Disney Dollars at the Disney Stores since they no longer own them.
We are going the last week in August and wanted to give them to the kids to use during the week and were going to buy them in advance.

Any help would be great.

ok from what i know you can still buy them at the stores but not write now. they are redesigning them and will be back in the stores int he next few weeks.

They act like a fun form of money. I guess more or less like a gift certificate. They are dollar for dollar value in WDW, DL, and at the Disney Store.

As for their availabilty...They will soon be available in the Disney Store again. They are designing a new Disney Dollar line for the 50th and because of that have not been replenishing the old stock at the stores. I believe they will be available sometime in May again (just not sure exactly when).
