Disney Dining Program Query

I'm considering whether to go with the Quick Service Dining Plan for an upcoming trip, but having never used it before I have a couple of questions.

- I'll be going for 14 nights, which I think means I'll get 28 meals and 28 snacks for my stay. Do I have to use these up as Disney gives them out (2 meals 2 snacks each day), or if I don't use a meal one day does that mean I can get 3 meals the next day?

- And second, the brochure says what you get for Breakfast and Lunch/Dinner, but does it have to be used like this (one breakfast, one lunch/dinner), or can I skip the breakfast and get one meal at lunch and one in the evening?

Thanks!

You get 28 credits for QS meals and 28 credits for snacks that you can use in way way you see fit between check-in and midnight after check-out. Load up on food and use every credit you have on the first day if you like [I wouldn't actually recommend that :hurl:].

Breakfast, lunch or dinner - it doesn't matter.

The brochures are just how Disney helps guests to rationalize the dining plan. Be it 2 breakfasts a day, a brunch and a linner, they really don't care. As monty said you get that number of credits and just need to use em all before you check out.

Lots of people report having to blow a bunch of snack credits before they leave as they forgot to use some during their trip. Loading up on snacks for the flight, or buying random people mickey bars, that type of stuff.

And just to add one more thing, as I think these two just covered everything else. I'll do a slight correction to the previous poster by saying that you don't even have to use them all BEFORE you check out. All dining plan credits must be used by midnight of the day that you check out, and any unused credits expire after that point. This means that you can load up your vehicle and check out of the resort at 8:30 AM and then head over to the Magic Kingdom and stay there until 11 PM, and still be able to use your remaining credits for meals at the park that day, and then hit the road home after you leave the park that night.

Most don't realize that snack credits can be used for many breakfast items - or even for some lunch items - they are very flexible - just ask the checkout people, especially in a food court, and they can help you maximize your use of credits.
