Disney Dining Plus Plan

Based on the $88 figure above you might find it hard to come out ahead, but the break-even looks slightly easier than the regular plan.

Take off $10 for the two snacks.
That makes it $38 per table service meal.
With tax is $94.60. So its more like $42 pp per meal( after minusing $10 pp per day for snacks). That may be tough to justify. I like the concept overall though.

Signature dinner is generally a very poor use of two dining credits.

Which is why we don't normally do the dining plan. But with one alcoholic beverage a person and what you get on the plan, I could see walking out of a signature breaking even at $94 a person.

But with this plan apps aren't included if they were this plan might appeal to me. If already doing the regular dining plan it would be worth the upgraded price only if you didn't use any meal credits towards quick service. To me its crazy it is priced almost right between the regular and deluxe plan. I thought it would have been a little lower priced.

True. My mind was on the Deluxe plan

You’d still pay tax on top of the menu price of paying out of pocket so it’s not really worth adding tax on to the dining plan price. Easier to make all comparisons at pre-tax prices.

I have found at a lot of the restaurants if you ask to switch the dessert for an appetizer they will do it, again, at a lot, but not at all, can't hurt to ask

I find the deluxe plan to be too much food and don't know if the 2 TS plan would take too much time away from the park. I probably would stick with what I usually do and purchase the 1 TS and 1 QS meal plan. I will be interested how these plans will all be priced out with the additional one added.

The prices are on page 1 of the thread.

I read thru the thread and didn't really see what I was looking for, so I'll ask... Anybody know how the new plan affects signature credits? Do you get more table service credits since you now have access to 2 TS per day? With the regular plan, we have to budget our TS credits for our trip to Cali Grill. (Decide which meal to skip, or which to pay out of pocket.) Will we have to do that as much with the new plan? (I hope that makes sense.)

You get 2 TS credits per day. And signature dining requires 2 TS credits, there is no such thing as a signature credit.

So you will still need to plan accordingly.

Yep, I know the policy just didn't ask it very well. Thank you! That helps, and probably means the new plan will work well for how we like to dine.
