Disney Dining Plan

If you're talking about one day in another park, you can do a taxi or shuttle. But if you're talking about multiple days off Disney property, it will probably be cheapest to rent a car for a few days. You can pick up at Alamo right on Disney property if you don't want to get it at the airport.
Renting a car isn't possible as I haven't learned yet andI think the US age law for driving is higher then here in the UK anyway

We want to do seaworld for a day, does anyone know if you can rent a car for just a day on site? Or is there a shuttle as that would be easier. Never driven outside europe before.

We have been to DisneyWorld many times and have done pretty much everything. I would suggest you DO NOT get the dining plan. It is NOT a money saver! Eat as much as you can outside the park and save your money for a character meal or really nice sit down meal. Rent a car (we like Alamo) and go to the nearest Publix and get water and breakfast bars. If you are going to those other parks you will absolutely need a car. I believe you can request a small refrigerator for you room for a nominal fee. Be sure to get tips from websites like allears net, mouse savers, Easydisney, etc.

The rent a car age here in the US is 25. If you can't rent a car you might look into off site hotels (all star resorts is probably the lowest quality Disney hotel) that have shuttles to Universal and Seaworld. Some off site hotels offer free breakfast too. And if you buy disney tickets you can still book fastpasses 30 days ahead of time.
