If you are looking to get bang for your buck, Le Cellier at Epcot in Canada is AWESOME! It is easy to have a bill for about $75 or more there for two people. The food is wonderful.

If it's a ton of food that you want, try an all you can eat buffet or family style service (that's just when they bring all the food to you in big bowls/plates and you serve yourselves at the table). For buffet, Chef Mickey's is a favorite. Not only is it decent buffet food, but you get to meet Mickey, Minney, Goofy and Pluto. My favorite family style service was at 'Ohana at the Polynesian - they bring grilled meats to you on big skewers. It was SOOOO good. A lot of people also like the Liberty Tree Tavern at the MK which is served family style and has the characters.

I could go on and on, but those are my favorites.

Menus for all of the restaurants and reviews are available at this website as well as www.allearsnet.com.

I have the disney dining plan for two weeks and will be staying in the Disney Coronado Springs Resort.
I have never used the dining plan before and i know not all restaurants are included.
So i would like to know what are the best restaurants that are included in the DDP.

The following require 1 Table Service credit. (Not in any particular order)

1. Crystal Palace (MK)
2. Le Cellier (Epcot)
3. Les Chefs de France (Epcot)
4. Akershus (Epcot)
5. Yak and Yeti (AK)
6. Tusker House (AK) so I have heard never ate there myself
7. 50's Prime Time Cafe (DHS)
8. Sci-Fi Dine-In (DHS) I like it some people dont
9. Raglan Road (DD)
10. Wolfgang Puck (DD) I liked it but that has been several yrs. ago. Hard to
remember.
11. Boma (AKL)
12. Ohana (Polynesian)
13. Whispering Canyon Cafe (WL) I have only ate their at breakfast.

2 Table Service Credits

1. California Grill (Contemporary)
2. Jiko (AKL)
3. Hollywood Brown Derby (DHS)
4. Citricos (GF)
5. Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue (FW) heard its good havent done it yet and
with using the Dining Plan you have to do certain level seating and maybe

Have a look through the DDP brochure, find restaurants that correspond with where you plan to be and have a look at the menus others have pointed you to.

Some places are definitely worth going out of your way to see, Hoop De Doo revue, Spirit of Aloha and any of the Signature restaurants would fall into that category.

Do you mean you bought the dining plan for a two week period or you will be going in two weeks? If you're going in 2 weeks good luck with reservations. I don't know if the change in the dining plan has made any difference, but last time we went we could not get any good reservation times and most of the time there were no availabilities!!!

Our family did the dining plan in 2006 and loved it. We had no problem since every restaurant we liked was included in the list. We plan on doing the deluxe dining plan in 2009. I think it's a good value since we are food lovers. Hey you walk it all off in the parks anyway, right?

Booked Restaurants

Hiya Thanks for all your help. I have now booked the restaurants and this is what we have below:

Sat 20th - Maya Grill (we arrive quite late so just a quick bite!)
Sun 21st - Le Chefs De France (my fave place to eat)
Mon 22nd - Teppan Edo
Tues 23rd - 50's Prime Time Cafe
Wed 24th - Boma (never tried b4)
Thurs 25th - Planet Hollywood
Fri 26th - Coral Reef (never tried b4)
Sat 27th - O'Hanna (never tried b4)
Sun 28th - Mama Melroses (never tried b4)
Tues 30th - Artist Point (never tried b4)
Wed 1st - Le Chefs De France
Thurs 2nd - Maya Grill
Fri 3rd - Le Cellier (never tried b4)

As you can see there is a lot of places we haven't tried b4 but we have heard good reviews for these places so we though having the free dining plan we should take advantage of trying something new.
What do u think? :D

You have a nice variety there. Understand that Tappan Edo is NOT covered by the dining plan.
I think Boma and Artist Point will be very pleasant surprises, and probably new favorites. Artist Point is a signature dining experience and requires 2 meal credits.
While it has a unique display...foodwise, Planet Hollywood is not one of my favorite restaurants, nor is Mama Melrose. That is just my personal preference. I would also consider trying something different from Maya Grill for the second time. There are so many options....I just don't like to do the same place more than once on a trip.

I gotta say one of my new favorite places is Flying Fish Cafe. We ate there on our last trip and I've booked an ADR for the upcoming one! It was just a really lovely place to eat, my husband and I had a wonderful time. And the food was sooooo good! It was 2 credits, but to me it was worth it. :) I can't wait to go back.
