Disney Dining Plan '08

I want to make sure I am understanding some of the changes to the DDP before I book my vacation for '08. I am looking at doing the Deluxe DDP for our trip. Now the literature may be misleading, but from what I gather with this plan I am entitled to three meals per night per person, and 2 snack per night per person, correct? Now my question is, with this plan do they group these meals as they do with the regular dining plan? Let me try to make it more clear. Do you get two counter services and one sit down per night? Or are you free to use all three meals as you see fit, ie. three sit downs in one day? If this is the case I am going to book this package as we like to do sit down meals, small kids and all. Plus, we do some sit down character dinings that use two sit downs, ie. Cinderella's Royal Table. Can someone please clarify before I book? Thanks in advance!

Yeah it is alot of food. To be quite honest Disney will probably get my wallet a couple of days we are there. However, last year we went with the regular dining plan, did CRT and a few other two sit down meals, and ended up paying out of pocket for quite a few counter services and a couple of sit downs. Don't get me wrong, the price tag still turned out right. I just thought tht for the price, this is a great opportunity, plus I think this still has the apps. Thanks for digging that up for me, thought I had read that sometime before, but couldn't find it!

Also, on the Deluxe Dining Plan, you get a refillable resort mug included.

We have the Deluxe plan for our January trip, and I'll report back on how useful it was or wasn't. I don't mind the copious amounts of food, as I and my boyfriend are minor foodies, and any chance to eat good food is welcomed :p

First, remember that this plan is not sold separately and is only available as part of the Magic Your Way Plus Deluxe Dine Vacation Package. The cost is $69.99 per Adult (age 10+) and $19.99 per child (age 3-9) per night plus the cost of the room and Magic Your Way Ticket choice. Everyone in the room must be on the same package and choose the same MYW ticket options.

Also keep in mind, you do still need to use 2 table service entitlements to dine at a Signature Restaurant on this plan.
