Welcome, one! Welcome, all! To a revival of an old project hosted by @DSquared! Much kudos to him, @TheOriginalTiki, and all who participated in Season One!

With that said, the premise of this thread is simple. Myself or @David2319 will grant you and another a topic, and you will take a side and debate it. Now, this thread is in no way a formal Imagineering competition like SWYTBAI or A Twist in Time. However, we would like to emphasize that if you sign up for a round, you should stick to that round (not necessarily the whole episode).

The Timeline per round
Challenge Period
(24Hours) - Anyone challenges anyone to a duel. The other person accepts.
Opening Remarks (24 Hours) -Make your opening remarks responding to the prompt. Simple really. Hard to screw up.
Counterargument (48 Hours) - Argue why your opponent is wrong.
Closing Remarks (48 Hours) - Respond to Counterarguments.
Voting (24 Hours) - Your peers (as well as David and myself) will vote on who had the stronger argument.

Margin Of Victory determines how many points you get that round. However, if your opponent does not respond the points that you receive will be limited to the highest margin of victory.

Episode 1 will have 5 rounds, each lasting a week.

If you have any ideas for prompts PM me and/or @David2319

ROUND ONE (@S.P.E.W vs __)
Prompt: Walter Elias Disney has several attractions in the parks which are preserved merely because of their connection to him (Carousel of Progress, Enchanted Tiki Room, etc.) Some consider these attractions outdated and should be replaced, as Walt himself was all about progress and moving forwards. However, they hold sentimental value to many.

Should attractions like these be completely gutted for better experiences, be kept in original value, or improved? Or form a new stance on the topic.

Challenges and Opening Statements are due no later than Wednesday at 11:59:59 PM!
This competition will be for the most part self-moving!

Any Claimers on this Prompt?

They should be kept in honor of Walt but they also should be updated so they don't fade into obscurity until someone looks at the map and says "Hey look, here's an abandoned attraction that has been here for a long time that we, like the guests that frequent the park, gave up on. This is a good place for Whatever-Big-Name-Franchise-We-Have:The Ride".

Considering Vox and I basically agree on this I don't think it will make for the most entertaining debate lol
