Has anybody attended a DDAC?
I am looking for feedback and advice from any past attendees, specifically:
1) Are any of the presentation materials and/or associated papers published and available to non-attendees? I recently lost access to IEEE's digital library where I'd normally look up presenters for related papers.
2) Do you have any advice for convincing an employer to pay for your attendance at DDAC?
My previous company was a staid, old engineering firm and my supervisor sneered at me when I asked about attending. I was already the red-headed stepchild of the department, only holding an MS and not a PhD, and I think my floating that they send me to DDAC really ticked them off. 
I think that my new company and department won't balk at all, but I want to prepare my case as well as I can.
