Hi everyone,
Heading to WDW in the fall with a 1 year old (she will be then), and I'mcurious about the cribs that Disney offers. Are they any good? Are they cheap? Should we attempt to bring a pack and play instead?

Any help would be great! Thanks!

They also provide bed rails if your child is sleeping in a bed! My daughter had already given up the crib by 14 months so she slept in the bed with her brother and two bed rails!

I used it last year and the pack and plays are fine. I brought my own sheets but more for her comfort than concerns for clean sheets

They are located in every villa. You do have to request on at the values -- I can't remember about mods and deluxes. It's been a few years since I needed one...and good Lord willing, won't ever need one again.

I wouldn't go to the trouble of bringing one, for sure. As everybody has said, Disney's do the job just as well (without the hassle!)

You do have to request them at the mods and deluxes as well.

We have used them a few times with our boys throughout the years. Never had a problem with them. They are standard pack n plays. I wouldn't lug my own down. The ones offered do the good!

Have fun on your trip!!!! We will be down there in the fall as well!

Their pack and plays are the same you find every where. My only suggestions is to bring your own sheet, they sell them pretty much every where. Young kids tend to have sensitive skin and can get irritated by harsh laundry detergents. Plus if you bring our own it will have the same smell to it as ther sheets at home which can be a bit of a comfort when going to bed.

They aren't provided in each room. You have to request one when making reservations and they will deliver it to your room once you check in.

Every resort stay of mine since 2002 the pack and play has been in the closet - and we go at least once a year and have been in values, deluxes and deluxe villas - and they weren't requested in advance.

My brother once needed to call housekeeping because one wasn't in his closet.

We've only had to use them once (for Princess #2 in 1996) and we needed to request it. We have made so many trips since then and have NEVER had one in the room (all deluxe hotels).

To the OP, it's just best to let them know you need one when you make reservations and mention it again when you confirm things a few days before. I have to say the one provided was better than the one we had at home
And yes, bring your own sheet and favorite blankie.

We have stayed at the Values & Deluxes many times over the years and there has never been a pack n play in the closet or the room at all . They have always brought it up after we checked in when we have requested it.

Better to be safe than sorry so if I were you I would make sure you request the pack n play when making your reservation.

This is great to know! My dd will be 2 1/2 when we go in November and I thought we would need to bring our own Pack N Play! Although, by then she may be in a bed, so it's good to know they also provide bed rails.

Just make sure you inspect the Pack n Play right after they deliver it/when you get in the room!

One time we were given 2 pairs of boxer shorts instead of a sheet for it...:lookaroun

I always brought an extra sheet too, but you never know with diaper leaks and such, when you'll need an extra.

Thanks for all the all the info on this!

We're staying at the Poly and I thought I read somewhere that they provide highchairs as well (on request). Is this correct?

can you request two or only one....my daughter is in a bed at home but staying at the family suite i think i will feel more comfortable having her in a pack n play....and i need one for the baby

I do not see why not. If you have 2 kids even remotely close to crib age on the reservation it should not be an issue.
