Disney Credit Card

I wasn't sure where to post this but I just wanted to share with you all. I know there are a lot of people who do not like to use credit cards but I just wanted to tell you how great the disney credit card is (as long as you pay the balance off monthly). My husband and I both have the disney credit card and we use it for just about everything so we can build up the rewards dollars. Then when it is time to book a trip sometimes the amount we have in rewards would pay the difference of staying at a moderate rather than a value resort. Or we use it to pay for food, or souveniers that maybe we wouldn't have bought if we didn't have the reward dollars. Or...for some of you who like to start a disney fund, the reward dollars you accumulate from using the disney credit is a good start.

I just wanted to post this because my husband and I are trying to save up as much money as we can to build a new house but we still want to do vacations and I personally think the disney credit card helps us. Call me crazy or just call me a really big Disney fan.

I bought my flatware with my rewards this past week and some lovely earrings and a jacket! I have figured out ways to use my card for just about everything except my car insurance.

I can pay my car insurance with mine. I wish my mortgage company and HOA dues would let me use the card. That would be 8 more points a month.

There are many time when the Disney Visa from Chase offers 5% points instead of just the normal 1% on purchases for Gas, Groceries, and Dining Out. Infact most of last year I was getting 5% back.

The other benefit is that for Disney Vacation, you get 6 months of no interest financing for every installment you make. So if you make your final trip payment on your Disney Visa 30 days before your trip, you'll have up to 5 months after your trip to pay it off interest free.

I use my Disney Visa for all of my purchases and just pay it off at the end of the month. My GF and I each have a card and collectively will have about 450 pts when it comes time for our Disneyland Trip in December. That will pay for quite a few meals for 2 people...

Ditto - just what I was thinking! I also have to say that I had an identity theft issue a few months back and I was very happy with how their customer service handled all the issues related to that. I can't say the same about all the financial institutions!

My DD and I both have Disney Visa's and she is in college so I will have extra points to spend I'm sure - I love the Disney card and people always comment on it when I use it!

I had the same thing. Chase was a stand up company. American Express on the other hand, totaly dropped the customer service ball in my opinion.
