I think if you're complaining here you need to take a second and realize the fact that we still get a muppet attraction at all and arguably an even bigger attraction than what they currently have is something really positive. It effectively kills two birds with one stone, allowing a new land for a beloved IP and still keeping the muppets around when they VERY easily could've just closed muppets 3D and not brought them back in any form whatsoever. As long as the overlay is good and I don't see why it wouldn't be at this point knowing how much they'll have to do with it, it will undoubtedly be more popular and relevant than a decades-old theatre screen show.

Does this wording seem a little weird to anyone else?

"The Muppets will be taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, teaming up with some of music’s biggest stars for a rockin’ music festival!"

So it's not just the Muppets involved?
I like this, there is the history of the Muppets interacting with celebrities. This way they can rotate whatever band is popular right now with a little film segment interacting with the Muppets and use it in the preshow.

Maybe RnRC starring Queen isn't entirely dead 🤞

This and the Villains Land feel like armchair imagineering is just real now lol

They no longer hire creative visionaries. Imagineers are now just whatever college program participants flirted the hardest with their leadership team, so it makes sense that they have to steal their ideas from decades-old discussion forum rumors.
