Anyone can choose to ignore that the world is round. That doesn't mean that mean that we have to prove our facts.

Some things are just basic knowledge.
reminds me of that Tayson DeGrasse quote bout science.
It doesnt matter if you have faith or believe ir or not.

Show me where you got that information from.
Are you my commanding officer? Even regulators, who can actually compel me to produce support for my information, say please.

Nonetheless, the information you seek is available all over the interwebs, should you wish to "do your research", as you seem to like telling others to do. For example, the government of Hong Kong, in discussing that resort, prepared the document here http://www.legco.gov.hk/yr08-09/english/sec/library/0809fs30-e.pdf which states that, with respect to Tokyo Disney "Walt Disney earned a fee for developing the park, retained complete design control, and retained significant control over park operations through a series of highly detailed operating manuals." You could also look to Wikipedia, which lists "Walt Disney Imagineering" as the "Designer" of attractions at DisneySea. For example, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Journey_to_the_Center_of_the_Earth_(attraction)

You could look at the history of the Tokyo Disney Resort on the Oriental Land Company web site, which describes negotiations with imagineering on attractions a few times. Or even themeparkinsider, which references it here. http://www.themeparkinsider.com/flume/201112/2809/

Your turn.

Easy there, he has been there twice, which obviously makes him an expert. Perhaps he even stayed at a Holiday Inn last night.

Maelstrom was a walk on on most of my visits.
Continually throwing out personal accounts to claim that it's true doesn't change the fact that Maelstrom did have decent lines at times for others. 20-30 mins. And not simply during peak visits.

The fluctuation of the wait-time could occur (I never saw it), but if people agree that there was fluctuation in wait-time, that means that they are agreeing to the fact that Maelstrom had a good amount of 20-30 min waits. It also is immaterial because the original discussion compared a fluctuating wait-time (Maelstrom) with consistent walk-ons such as JII, Seas, etc.

The point of the original discussion was to show that there are other needs in the park and stuffing Frozen into the wrong country to drive attendance isn't the long-term solution.

At this point, you're beating a dead horse because this topic ended pages ago.

I did not claim there weren't times with longer lines now did I ? I only claimed that it was a walk on during my visits. And since when is there a time limit on posting ones opinions?
Lighten up Francis and Let it go. This whole thread is a deceased horse beating exercise.

About the wait times there are a couple of sites that crunch data. I know Touring Plans is the most known. Another site I am pulling this graph from has also been recording wait times for a few years. I can’t speak to the accuracy but at least it is more than I saw this or that he one of two times I walked by. The following chart was used to demonstrate the effect of FP+ on standby wait times. Maelstrom is showing to have a consistently higher wait time than Nemo. Obviously there are several factors that go into wait times including hourly capacity.

Edit: Of course it doesn’t work. Basically the numbers are as follows:
Nemo 2013 and 2014 median wait time is 10 minutes and peak time is 15
Maelstrom median wait time 15 in 2013 and 30 in 2014. Peak wait time is 20 minutes in 2013 and 45 minutes in 2014. Numbers were pulled in March 2014 so anything after early March was not accounted for.

Again, not my numbers so those who say I saw it higher, can direct complaints elsewhere.
