Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

I thought that my point was clear. As for the accurate part, it's not really, since no one has supported Arendell taking over the Norway pavillion. Believing that a Frozen ride is a good fit for the pavillion is not the same as recommending that the movie take over the entire pavillion, as we have discussed ad nauseam. Twisting the discussion to suggest otherwise does not help the conversation. Nor does attacking other posters or any of the other fallacious arguments thrown about in here.
Unless it's going after those who believe that Norway will go by the wayside for Arendelle. Because that's where the real magic is for some....

i dont care if it fits in or not..its something new and i will miss maelstrom but oh man was something newer needed in its place..

i have had enough trolledumacation for a lifetime
*scandalous post*
They could have added something new at anytime. Germany, Japan, France and Canada could have easily held a new attraction. They decided to add a ridiculously over-priced Pizza joint instead.

Oh, and some princesses. That's new, right?

Hey, those Via Napoli ovens that deepthroat your pizza are an attraction. 9 out of 10 in Vegas would FP+ that in a heartbeat!

They are going to build an IKEA out behind the ride. That's almost Norwegian, right? As Norwegian as Aladdin is Moroccan...
I don't think the connection between Aladdin and Morocco is nearly as tenuous as a lot of people try to make it out as being. "Aladdin's Wonderful Lamp" is considered to be part of Islamic and Arab culture. Almost all of the Moroccan people are Muslim, Arab-Berbers. Now whether or not that translates to many Moroccans identifying with the tale I cannot answer, but the Morocco Pavilion has always been noted for the level of involvement from the monarchy. That history of heavy attention being paid to the Pavilion makes me think the characters' presence is not done without consent. The original tale taking place in China or the film taking place in Arabia is irrelevant, and it being relevant would negate most of the argument against Frozen in the Norway Pavilion.

also Frozen to me is the best replacement for maelstrom since its going..its close enough of a property in regards to culture..

even booked FP for maelstrom for monday so i can enjoy it again:cool:

i dont mind princesses at all;)
Does Maelstrom need to be replaced with characters at all? A refurbished ride with more impressive troll AAs would have been appropriate and cute troll dolls would have gone off the shelves like pot brownies in Colorado.

I'll take 50 please.

And would you mind Frozen being built elsewhere or a reimagining of Maelstrom? Or is it important that Frozen replace Maelstrom because other people care? Excitement for something new though is delusional because the flood of people into World Showcase will only further delay other investments as the area sees greater revenue.

Right there's the thing. Why do they have to attack anyone else, at all? It seems that if their positions were so solid that they could simply discuss the topic honorably and not attack anyone.
