Internship?

I don't know, I just saw some flyers and brouchures on the table next to the elevators of my dorm...Does anyone know more about this program? I thought it was pretty coincidental because I'm leaving for Disney in about a week! :king:

There's a section on this forum dedicated to WDW employment, including the WDW College Program (CP for short). Check out the Employment/College Program/International section on the drop-down menu at the bottom of the page. Also, check out the official website at http://disney.go.com/disneycareers/disneycollegeprogram/

There are many board members here who are alumni of the CP, and can share some of their experiences on the program. Also, be sure to ask some of the CM's you encounter on your upcoming trip about the CP.

Yeah. www.wdwcollegeprogram.com has all the info you need for doing the CP. I would say go for it! I did it Spring 2005 and I applied for Fall 2006 (the CP the presentations are doing right now). It is a lot of fun. If you have questions or want to talk you can PM me, my AIM is joanna71985, and my email is joanna71985@hotmail.com. Try going to a presentation or watch the E-Presentation at the website above if you can't. It's basically the same thing as the live presentation (I did the E-Presentation).

Just as the other replies have said, the Disney College Program is totally awesome and you should definitely, at the very least, check out the presentation either online or on campus.

I did the Spring 2003 program in Fantasyland Attractions and am super excited about hopefully going back soon. Drop me a line if you have any questions.

I am also going to jump in and say it was one of the best things I have done. I did the Spring Advantage 2004 program and worked in attractions. You meet great people, learn how to work in a large company, great communication skills, and most of all have fun with friends and guests.

Yes it is work and that is why you are there, but as long as you realize it is a job and not just one long spring break you will have a great time. Also, send me a PM if you have any questions. Always love to talk about it!

I am in the process of applying and waiting to hear back for the Professional internthips. So if anyone here as done one of those let me know!

Where did you work? I did fall advantage 2002 in MK - lower frontierland merchandise (splash photo and Briar Patch).

I just want to reiterate what everyone else has said. Do the cp. It was the best time of my life. And it gave me great life and work experiences that I still use in my job.
