Hi All!
I am interested in applying for the Fall Advantage internship. They just posted the schedule for the meetings. My problem is that the closet is 3 hours away. I want to apply early to get Recreation, but also apply early and get it out of the way and not worry about it. Is there any real advantage of getting accepted of going to a presentation at a university? Any information would be great, thank you.

Hi there. There is no real advantage to a school presentation over doing the E-Presentation. I have done both, and was accepted both times. Good luck!

OT- what school do you go to?

Oh, just wanted to add- the only thing I can think that would be an advantage for school presentations is that there are alumni and a recruiter there. But other then that, it is pretty much the same (in my opinion).

Yea, I'll be starting my first CP on Monday and I applied after watching the E-Presentation. The reason I chose it was because I couldn't wait to apply and find out if I got accepted! I did want to go just to be able to talk to a recruiter and get some more information on a personal level, but there's nothing they could have told me that all the CP Alumni on these boards can't tell me :) I applied really early and knew within two weeks that I got accepted, so it's up to you whether you want to find out early, or wait for the school presentation lol

Thanks for the information. I applied on-line last night and have my interview next Thursday, any advice would be great. I am the same, wanted to apply early and know as soon as possible, I do not like waiting.

That's great! Which roles are you picking?

Just remember to relax (the interview is not too hard), have fun, and to smile.

My main role is Recreation, since my major is Sports Management and I will get credit for doing the internship if I get accept. My other choices are Vacation Planner, becuase I have planned so many of my families Disney vacations that I know alot of that, and last I picked Attractions, it sounds like a great role. Any advice to questions they ask during the interview, would be helpful. Thank You.

The questions they ask range from personal questions ("why do you want to do the college program") to role-related questions (for attractions- "say a kid wants to ride Space Mountain, but is too short. What do you do?").

That's funny joanna, they asked me the exact same question. How did your guys CP turn out anyway? My CP friend is down there doing his second CP working in resorts.
