Disney Co. Officials think 30% may withhold votes for Eisner

My husband was reading this to me this morning. I just posted in another thread that 5 more states (with Disney stock in their pension funds) are with holding their vote from Eisner, too. I wonder if he will survive the vote.

I'm rather doubtful that he'll get 30% against him, though I'm keeping fingers crossed, but even if he gets a number in the 20% area, that's still a large amount and would still be considered a number large enough to force the Board to look for new leadership.

The question everyone seems to overlook is if that 30% will also apply to members of the Board. They're just as culpable as the CEO and they too have to face the music.

He's getting my vote... Better to say, I've voted Yes for Eisner.

For me it was kind of ironic....cause I heard about Eisner's possible dismal future at Disney World itself this weekend...it really brought a smile to my face...and made me wonder about Disney's future...let us hope its nothing but bright...
