Disney Club closing in 2003

Has anyone heard anything about what may be replacing the Disney Club card now that Disney has decided to close it in 2003? I have found out that I can still renew my membership for next year, but I have to do it before Dec 13th or something like that. Any word on why this happened? My cycical side thinks its because too many people actually saved money with it. I'm just curious on how they plan to replace it.

The Disney Club is being replaced with a Disney Visa Card. I believe it will still have some special Disney benefits.:lookaroun

last word is the new visa card will still have benifits, either you can rack up bonus points, discounts or both. there has been no confirmation yet as to what it may be.

I just joined the club yesterday 5DEC02 and there was no mention of it going away or being changed.

I joined it because I planned on taking a couple of tours. The 15% off more than paid for the membership.:sohappy:
