The purpose of this thread is story’s and plays that could be turned into Disney animated movies. These movies can include a whole slew of story’s and art styles. My first idea is A Raisin In The Sun, I still have to read the book but I have read the summary and I feel like it could be a very strong animated movie. I feel like it would be similar to soul or princess and the frog.
I always thought "The Phantom of the Opera" would have been good in the late 90's. But it probably would have been maybe a little too similar to "The Hunchback of Notre Dame."
So as you can tell from the title the purpose of this thread has changed. The thread purpose is to make a horror cinematic universe based on Disney movies and original IP. This is how phase 1 will be introduced.

The Wisher Rural Florida, 1999. Our protagonist, Amy is a popular student that bullies other girls. Then something terrible happens, she loses her father George. Her entire personality changed, she became more isolated, left the cheerleading team, and her boyfriend breaks up with her.
She looks out her window and see the wishing Star. She wishes for her father back and magically she sees her father starting walking back to her. She reunites with her father and she wishes for her life to go back to the way it was. The world goes back to the good old days, she got her life back and could not be more grateful. As she goes further through her life, she starts to get more greedy and wishes for riches and a new boyfriend. Then she got a warning from the star to stop making wishes, but she disregards the star and continues to wish.
She wishes again but this time it is different. The regular white star turns red, a thunderstorm rolls in, and her house starts to creak. She then hears a loud boom and see a giant light coming from the star. A large figure appears out of the light and walks toward her. She says “your greed has clouded your mind, I will clear your mind for you”, the figure clears her mind and take’s everything away from her. She gets transported to the streets of the city and is now homeless. She only asks for one more wish, but the figure denies her and makes his way back to the star.
She goes through her life being homeless, her friends do not help her, every time she got money it was stolen, and every night she got beaten by the local gang members. On the night she first wished on the star, she try’s wishing again. Nothing happens, but the ground below her starts to crack and lava starts seeping through the cracks. Then before her eyes several images flash before her eyes of different monsters and places. In front of her is a book that has several stories in it but there is room for more. She grins as our protagonist becomes our antagonist of the universe.
This is the pilot of the universe and the movie that ties all the movies together.
The movie starts as we enter a back alley where we see The Wisher. She begins to tell us the story of Peter Pan and how many have made different stories about the tale where Peter is normally the protagonist. She says she will show us the real story as we enter the pages of the book. We enter London as we focus on the Darling family as both parents are arguing about their days and who’s was worse and how the children is there main problem and how they would put them up for adoption. We enter the bedroom where we see Wendy comforting John and Michael as she puts them to bed, she then wishes on a star that she wishes she had a better life. The star shines bright as we see Peter enter the bedroom as he is there to grant her wish, she asks who he is and why do you look familiar. He explains that his form changes depending on the person so that he will look familiar, he then tells Wendy to come with him. She asks about John and Michael and if they can come with them. He unfortunately says no as only those who wish can come with him. Tinkerbell shows up as she helps Wendy fly to Neverland as our vision turns white.
They both enter Neverland as they land next to Peter Pans hideout as the lost boys come out to greet them. All of the lost boys interact with Wendy as they ask various questions and they will eventually tire themselves out as Wendy tells them the story of Beauty and the Beast as everyone falls asleep. We see Captain Hook in the distance as they survey the surrounding area and see Peter and Wendy fly in and makes a comment about another one that Pan has brought and leaves to the Jolly Roger. It turns to the next day as Peter shows Wendy around Neverland. We zoom in on Tinkerbell as she has a look of jealousy on her face, we then see flashbacks of other girls that Peter has brought and what happened to them, Tinkerbell then sings a song about the other girls (What happened to them) and how she would keep Pan all for herself once Wendy is gone. She then goes to Mermaid Lagoon and tells the mermaids that they should drown Wendy to get closer to Peter. The mermaids attack Wendy but she is rescued by Peter who defeats the mermaids. We then see how Tinkerbell came out like this as we see her entire family except for 3 were killed by humans not believing in them. We then see Hook attack Peter and the lost boys but he is defeated and Peter takes over the Jolly Roger as it begins to fly. We then see Tinkerbell and her family flying towards the Jolly Roger as one of them stops the ship from flying, as the other one takes all the fairy dust away from the ship as it starts to fall. The other fairies save the lost boys as Peter watches Tinkerbell fly to Wendy, telling her that this is nothing personal and she was sorry. Wendy then falls into a ravine filled with sharp rocks as the camera pans to Hook watching the battle unfold, he musters his crew on an attack on the hideout. The pirates attack the hideout as the fairies make the pirates fly away, one of the fairies is hit by a sword and falls down. The crew brings in a cannon where they blast the hideout with some of the lost boys inside, crushing them, Peter and Hook are fighting each other with Hook questing Peter about the other girls. Peter says it wasn’t his fault, but Hook says ,it was, Tinkerbell was acting under his direction. The battle stops momentarily as everyone looks over to Peter in shock of this revelation, Peter fights even harder to take out Hook. Peter slash’s Hook’s right eye as he backs away, Peter is about to kill Hook but is tackled to the ground by one of the lost boys but he is killed by Peter, the rest of the lost boys turn on Peter as everyone starts to attack Peter and the fairies. The battle ends as a huge explosion blows up the hideout as some of Hook’s crew put gunpowder in the hideout. We see Tinkerbell slowly fly up but a hand comes up to her and crushes her, we see Hook slowly come up but a portal forms by him. The Wisher comes out of the portal and tells Hook that she can give him what he wants most. Hook pulls a gun on The Wisher and shoots at her but it bounces off her, he then puts Hook to sleep as tentacles come out of the portal and takes him into the portal. The movie ends as we see The Wisher walk into the portal as Neverland is consumed by a darkness of unparalleled proportions.
The next movie in the series (which is Tower of Terror) is going to introduce a brand new original character to the franchise. Let’s just say that it is a gift from the Wisher’s master.
The movie starts as we enter into 1920s Hollywood, the night is dark and gloomy with rain pouring down on the city. We fly through the city as we go past towering skyscrapers and crowded streets of cars and people, at the outskirts of the city is the Hollywood Tower Hotel perched on top of a mountain. The lights glow in the night sky as we enter the lobby of the hotel, a family of 4 is signing into the hotel. Once they are done a bellhop takes their luggage and they enter into the elevator, the lights flicker as the elevator stops momentarily but goes back up again. The elevator stops again but this time it doesn’t go back up but starts to crash down all the way to the basement, ghosts and flashing green lights follow the elevator down. The only surviving member of the elevator is a little girl that is hurt pretty badly, she walks further into the basement where there are several skeletons littering the floor. As she passes by a dark corner, a pair of green eyes light up as the eyes of the skeleton start to glow green. The girl is scared and try’s to run to the emergency stairs but is stoped by a skeleton grabbing her leg, she is dragged too the shadows as her screams echo through the hotel as it starts to glow green.
The scene changes to modern day Hollywood as we focus in a run down building that holds a family that is in the ghost finding business. A man angrily walks out of the building as Sarah try’s to salvage the deal they were talking about, Jack stops her as she was about to run out of the building. She comments that they really needed that deal or they would lose the building, we see how the family of 4 live that is almost exactly like the family in the previous scene. A knock comes to the door as a sleazy looking man is at the door, Sarah lets him in as he asks if this is the right ghost finding business. She is happy as she answers yes and they bring him into the office, he tells them that there is a particular abandoned hotel that has been abandoned and the new owners are superstitious so they asked for a ghost check. The family is happy as they immediately accept, as the guy walks out a sly smile crosses his face. The family gets ready as they get their gear and head out to the hotel, times have not been kind to the hotel as moss is growing across the walls and an entire part of the building is missing. Outside of the hotel is a man and a woman, the family asks who they are which they tell them that they Mike and Jessica and they are here to capture the ghosts if there are any. Everyone goes inside of the hotel, the lobby is covered with cobwebs as it seems that everyone disappeared, the team separates as Jack goes to the kitchen, Sarah goes to the beauty parlor, the 2 kids go to the pool area, and the Jessica and Mike go up to the rooms on the other levels.
Jack walks into the kitchen, there’s rotten food in the fridge as there are several chef costumes laying across the floor. Several pots and pans start to lift off the ground as they launch at the husband, he narrowly dodges them as several knives fly at him with them pinning him to the wall. He try’s to escape but is knocked out and is dragged to the basement.
Sarah enters the beauty parlor, the parlor is covered in different colors as there are makeup and wigs all over the ground. She passes by a mirror but she walks back where she looks at her reflection but it looks different, her eyes are blacked out with cracks around her eyes. She looks closer but hands shoot out of the mirror and drag her inside with her screams being muffled.
The 2 kids, Maddie and Matthew, enter the pool area. The area does not look good with moss growing through the cracks, chairs flipped over, and the water being pitch black. Maddie goes into a back room where all the utilities and cleaning supplies of the pool are stored, she powers up the lights in the room. Matthew looks in the water where a skeleton shoots out of the water and grabs him and drags him in, Maddie hears the splash and sees Matthew getting dragged to the bottom but all of a sudden disappears. Maddie is scared as she backs up to a wall that falls back and leads down a flight of stairs to the basement.
We see Mike and Jessica travel up the stairs up to the rooms of the hotel, they go through the rooms of the hotel which have been frozen in time with furniture knocked over and cobwebs covering the room. One room is particular is covered in blood and there is a skeleton sitting on the bed, a suicide note is on the desk as a knife is sticking into the skeletons chest. As they leave the eyes start to glow as it tilts its head and grabs the knife from its chest and gets up. As they walk through the halls the lights turn on from downstairs, the lights flicker to a green as the skeleton charges at them slicing Jessica as Mike try’s to fight the skeleton. As the skeleton and Mike fight each other Jessica aims the gun at the skeleton and fires, hitting the skeleton. Unfortunately it doesn’t affect him as the skeleton knocks out the guy and flings the knife at the lady, killing her, the skeleton then grabs Mike and brings him down to the basement.
We follow Maddie down the stairs as she reaches the basement, we see everyone tied up in the center of the basement with ghosts and skeletons surrounding them. She hides behind a generator, in the center of the circle a ghost rises from the ground. The eyes glow even brighter as the ghosts start to chant some ancient language as she slowly walks to the equipment that will kill the ghost. She reaches it but the ghost girl sees her and orders the ghosts and skeletons to attack her, the girl blasts the ghosts and skeletons clearing the way to the ghost girl. She blasts the ghost girl but the girl absorbs the energy and shoots it back at her, destroying the weapon, Mike breaks out of his constraints and punches the ghost girl with a special glove. They both start to attack the girl as the rest escape, once the she is hurt enough they both escape and they run out of the hotel. The family and Mikr part ways but they will contact each other if anything comes up.
We go back into the basement where we see the ghost slowly wake up, the ghost girl has a look of fear on her face as the Wisher stands in front of her. The Wisher tells her that she has failed her and she doesn’t like failure and that she will be taking her ghosts and skeletons back from her. The ghost girl pleads for her life but a portal opens up below her. The ghost girl teleports into a dark valley, a loud footsteps are heard as the ghost girl looks into the distance where 2 red eyes glow. The ghost girl looks in fear as she says that she will do better next time but a loud hum is heard as a bright red light comes from the core of the thing. 2 rows of spikes spin around the circular core as a beam of red light comes out of the core, incinerating the ghost into atoms. A large cloud of black smoke covers the area as the thing teleports away as the movie ends.
