JUST GOT APPROVED AND READY TO BOOK MY TRIP!!!!!

On a whim I told myself, "hey, apply for the card, whats the worse that can happen? You get approved and you HAVE to go to WDW?" For those that have it, what are the best perks about it? Did you feel like you got more out or this particular card than a regular visa?

I've had mine for a couple of months. We used it on our most recent trip for purchases and have used it for booking our next trip in November. For the booking I get 0% financing and will get 0% financing when I pay off the balance. We did take advantage of the character picture deal you get in Epcot and I did save 10% on my purchase at Mousegear. We have the regular one, not the premier, but I'll be using it for most purchases now and paying it off each month. Good way to rack up some points towards another trip, or to use the rewards to pay for our food oop instead of the DDP.

We finally got one a few months back. We Put ALL the Vacation expenses on it BUT Not unless we have the cash to pay for the Trip saved . We pay it off as soon as we get the Bill..Weve already got around $150 coming to us which we will use In the Christmas store and we plan to use the Meet and Great at Epcot too.

There are better "points" cards out there but this one is pretty good. We got this one in my wifes name to build her credit and I really enjoy presenting Tinkerbelle to pay for stuff. We have bee saving points since June 13 for a June 14 trip and have $550 in points already!

I love my card. Paying for things with a castle credit card just makes the purchase so much more worthwhile! Haven't used it yet in the parks, but looking forward to it! And paid my cruise for August with it.. gotta accumulate those reward dollars!

I've had it for a few months now, and I love getting rewards been racking it up since the beginning for our trip in May. Every little bit helps...oh and I signed up when they had get a $200 giftcard promo which I used in Feb to pay off a portion of the hotel...I used the free photospot in September and I got 10% when I went to the local Disney Outlet (or store I Can't remember) last year. I love handing someone a card with a castle on it! :)

We use the 10% off quite often. There is also a Disney Store at an outlet mall that we frequent, so we can get 10% off on top of the good sale prices there. Also 10% off at DisneyStore.com. We had the regular card for awhile, but upgraded the premier a year or two ago. We put everything on one of two cards and pay them off every month, so we can run up a decent amount of rewards on both. On the Disney card, the additional rewards percentage pays for the annual fee in less than 2 months, so for us, the premier card was a no-brainer. We also use it to pay for WDW trips, but haven't taken advantage of the 0% financing.

In the past, we've used the rewards for tips at dining (we've always used the dining plan) and we'll put rewards on a separate card for our son to use as his vacation money. This year, we're not using the dining plan, so I'm sure we'll use up nearly all of the money on dining. I think we're nearing $700 in rewards, and still have almost 9 months until our trip!

I've had it for years and years. I used it last trip to get the financing deal and we use it for the free picture at Epcot each visit.

I have the premier card and the extra dollars (2% for groceries, gas, restaurants and Disney purchases) more than pays for the annual fee. I keep forgetting to get the free picture :banghead:, but I get an awful lot of compliments on my card (I have the fab four). I have been able to accumulate enough rewards dollars to cover about 10-15% of my total trip cost each year.

I will be honest, the card is not the best in terms of payback, you get a lot more with a Capitol One, but it does not hurt to keep in your pocket and use for trips(to get 6 months 0 percent) and the perks at parks.

I'm in the market for a new card. I have Bank of America Rewards Card now, but I rarely use plastic at all or when I do its minimal. I figure, if I switch to the Disney Card, I have to go back - thats enough of a reason for me to switch..

The biggest reason I got it was Disney Visa cardholder discounts for Disney trips. i.e. since discounts are often released to cardholders before they come out for the general public. The rewards really aren't all that great IMO, but it's nice having it so I can beat the masses when calling in for a trip discount.

Points accumulation doesn't even come close to rewards on other cards. But is good for discounts on purchases at the world etc.

The perk I like the best is the private meeting with Mickey and friends at Epcot. one less thing to worry about during our trip. No line to get in, and a free photo to take home. The small rewards add up to about $200 for us, so we use that to pay for a few meals while on vacation.
