No way. There are fewer boats on the lake now than at that time. Bay Lake used to be littered with water sprites, in a good way.

I saw Goofy once, but only for a second or so and no camera was handy at the time. It was also the days of crappy Instamatics for our budget, so the odds of getting a decent shot would have been slim.

That was back when they spent money on gator removal and more in the way of preventative. I still would love to see the records on what they spent in the 70s and 80s until now. I bet it's a nicely down sloping line.
